Training at Greystone is founded in the principals of classical dressage and combined training. While we have students who successfully compete in eventing and dressage, we are not strictly a competition barn. We are happy to teach riders working to improve skills and safety without interest in competing. ​

Lesson Costs:

$95 For 45 Minute Private Lessons

$70 for Group  Lessons

$30 fee per month fee for any rider borrowing our Greystone Farm horses for lessons.

​For riders who do not yet own or lease a horse:

At Greystone, we focus on safety and the good care of our animals. We have only two horses currently available for lessons so availability is extremely limited. Our lesson horses are our own retired competition horses and all have a high degree of schooling. They must be correctly handled, well cared for and not overworked. We insist that our horses are ridden only once daily with one or two days off per week. Riders who do not own a horse and are riding our horses must commit to a minimum of one lesson per week or four per month. Added to the lesson package, riders borrowing our horses must also pay a flat $30 fee per month.
